Easy consumer guide to 60-day prescriptions

All you need to know about the changes that will save you money and time.

These changes started from 1 September 2023

From 1 March 2024 the range of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) medicines available on 60-day prescriptions has expanded, giving many Australians twice the amount of their medication on a single prescription.

The next time you visit your doctor (or whoever writes your prescriptions) you can ask these three questions:
